Soccer ball
Soccer balls are the only thing you'll really need to actually play the game. It doesn't take much more besides a ball and a small area to play in. The sizes vary between 1 and 5. Each ball is made for a separate age group which improves the persons performance based on their age and size. To the right you can see the most common types and an example of what they look like. To help maintain the condition of your soccer ball you should make sure you are inflating the appropriate amount of pressure for maximum benefit. Hand pumps with gauges are recommended because they are cheap and can give you a reading of the balls pressure. Keeping your soccer ball clean also keeps it from deteriorating.

Clothes
When it comes to clothing you just need to think about the conditions. A game calls for shorts and a jersey or shirt. Long sleeve shirts are also permissible. The weather is the biggest factor when choosing what to wear. Warmer weather calls for less clothing while colder weather requires insulated extra clothing. When playing a game the goalkeepers clothes must be a different color than the entire team.
